Ronald Hochreiter

I am research consultant at the Institute for Security Research, Strategy and Public Leadership at the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt and the Center for Leadership and Public Management at the University of Continuing Education in Krems. Furthermore I am principal investigator at the Clinical Competence Center (3C) at the Faculty of Medicine of the SFU Sigmund Freud Private University Vienna.

I received my PhD in Computational Management Science from the University of Vienna in 2005 and my habilitation (venia docendi) in Business Administration from the WU Vienna University of Economics and Business in 2013. I was Guest Professor at the University of Bergamo between 2009 and 2017 as well as part-time Post-Doc Guest Researcher at the Imperial College London between 2006 and 2009.

Additionally, I am running Sensational Artificial Intelligence as a part of my holding company Hochreiter Consulting & Holding GmbH and am consulting companies and organizations regarding Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence since May 2000. Furthermore I am a senior partner at algorithmic.finance, a quant boutique and operate quantlab.cloud, a cloud-based quant laboratory.

I am president of the Academy of Data Science in Finance and a member of the Regulatory Sandbox Beirat of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Finance as well as a member of the Lower Austria AI Advisory Board.
